Started coding at 17. No bootcamp, no CS degree, just a View Source tab I never closed and way too many late-night “wait, how does this actually work” rabbit holes.
Three years later I'm shipping React, Next.js, and TypeScript apps that hold up in production. I get weirdly into the boring stuff. Load times, accessibility, the motion details that take something from “fine” to “feels good.” If a site feels off and you can't say why, that's usually where I look.
Off the clock: CTFs, hackathons, AI papers I half-understand on first read and re-read till I do, and tools I build because I'd rather use mine than pay for someone else's. Everything's on GitHub. Even the rough drafts. I figure if my bad code is out there, people tell me what's broken faster.
